The Financial Coach team members are committed to giving back to the community; each member lending their support in ways that are meaningful to them.
Two special projects that The Financial Coach is involved with are the Regeneration Outreach Community Breakfast Program in Brampton, and the Amani Children’s Home Carpentry Program in Africa.
Regeneration Outreach Community, Brampton
The Regeneration Outreach Community in Brampton provides a number of programs and services to those who are homeless, at risk of being homeless, and other at risk individuals. One of the many ways they support the community is through their Breakfast Program. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, nourishing the mind, body and soul.
Guests have the opportunity to build a sense of community over Breakfast and have access to a number of services such as clothing, nursing care, clinical foot care, chiropractic care and personal hygiene kits. Regeneration also offers a lunch program, ID Clinics, Haircuts, Monthly Birthday celebrations, showers, laundry, street soccer, Regenerate U, a life skills program.
Amani Children’s Home
Amani Children’s Home, located in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, provides a safe place for abandoned street children to heal and learn what it is to be a child in a caring and loving environment. They provide a home, meals, life skills and medical care for homeless children.
Among the many programs and services Amani provides, is the Carpentry Program. This program teaches the children basic carpentry skills. It equips the children with tools & supplies, and the ability to make things that they can later sell. With what they learn, they are better prepared to take care of their own future.
Amani is a registered charity in Canada and the US.
